Member Agreement

Little Farm Fresh Agreement
As a member of the Little Farm Fresh Family you share in all the benefits involved in growing vegetables in an organic method. You receive the freshest, healthiest produce available. You also share in the risks involved in farming the organic way. Mother Nature may have other plans than the ones we strive our best for and they are sometimes unavoidable. As a partner in our farm it is important to understand you are committed to accepting both the benefits and risks involved in our ecological approach to farming.
Our shares will include the produce that is in season and be available for 18 weeks from mid-June to mid- October. This means not all vegetables will be available at all times. Later in the season your shares will be overflowing with options, and be less abundant earlier in the season. Please keep this in mind as your early shares may not completely eliminate your produce grocery trips.

Keeping in Touch
We send out bi-weekly newsletters during the season so you can stay in the loop with all the exciting things happening on the farm. We love to keep you involved in the growing process and make sure you are up to date with any other important information regarding your weekly shares.
We also try to host an Open Farm Day for our CSA members yearly. We love to show our members the gardens and have them see exactly where their food is grown, and be able to chat and connect with our Farm Family!
Packaging, Delivery and Pickup
Packaging:
Here at the farm we try to keep our plastic use low. We use re-usable grocery bags to deliver the produce in. We have an exchange system, we deliver your vegetables and pick-up last weeks bag from you. We also use re-usable mesh bags for our salad mixes, and cardboard pints for our other produce. These are also re-used and exchanged all season long. You are not expected to wash any bags, we take care of that at the farm.
Delivery:
Our 2026 Season Delivery days are Tuesdays between 3-6pm.
We make deliveries to the following towns: Markdale, Flesherton, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain, Thornbury, Meaford, Clarksburg and everywhere in between.

*Please contact us at littlefarmfreshinfo@gmail.com if you are unsure if your location qualifies for delivery
You do NOT need to be home to accept the delivery. We can leave the produce for you at your door or the designated drop off spot at your home. We want you to have the freshest produce possible so please make note of your delivery days so your produce is not out in the elements for too long. Leaving a cooler with an ice pack is suggested if the vegetables will be left out for long periods of time.

Pickup:
Our 2026 Season Pick-Up days are Tuesdays between 2-6pm.
Pickup is available at our farm located at 76447 11th Line, Markdale. The majority of our members choose delivery so pick-up is self serve. The produce bags are placed in coolers at a designated spot. We hope to be around for pick-ups to say hello at 2pm, any later we are off doing our deliveries.

Choosing your produce

Choosing your weekly produce is easy! You simply Login to the member area of the website and choose the produce you wish to add to your order. The orders are placed the weekend before harvest day. This gives us enough time to create our harvest lists. We harvest the vegetables on the same day as we deliver them! You won't get any fresher then that:) If you forget to login to choose your produce (which happens with any busy lifestyle) we will choose the most popular items for you.
Refunds, Cancellations, or Missed Weeks
If you are away for a week and can not accept your produce bag you may cancel the delivery for the week for a maximum of 2 weeks. Please let the farm know at least 1 week in advance of your delivery day that you wish to cancel for the week. A refund for the week can be credited to you at the end of the season if you wish. If you do not contact the farm in time you will be charged for the week. If you are away for more than 2 weeks you may donate your share to the local food bank or gift it to a friend who lives within our delivery areas.

If you need to cancel your CSA share for any reason throughout the season, or are unhappy with a delivery, please contact us directly. We always strive to do our best and all feedback is beneficial. Little Farm Fresh reserves the right to cancel your CSA share at any time during the season if we feel you are not a good fit for our farm's mission.
Payment Options
E-transfers are our preferred method of payment. Cheques are also accepted. Payment for the CSA share can be made in full at time of sign-up or in 2 payments. Half at sign-up and the other half by May 1st. The early payments help our farm to offset some of the costs that occur in early spring before the growing season begins.
A Note of Thanks
Lastly, we want to thank you for supporting our Little Farm and family. We are excited to have you along with us on our journey. We have big plans for Little Farm Fresh and are happy you are along for the ride. We can’t wait to meet you!
